**Wilmington, DE** – The Delaware State Police have taken into custody a 15-year-old male and two 16-year-old females, all residents of Wilmington, Delaware, in connection with a robbery that transpired Thursday afternoon at a local 7-Eleven.

On Thursday at approximately 1:15 p.m., state troopers responded to a reported robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 4865 Governor Printz Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered the teenagers were prohibited from the store due to prior shoplifting incidents. Despite being asked to leave by the clerk, they refused, began taking store items, and assaulted the clerk during an attempt to reclaim merchandise, fleeing the scene afterward. The clerk was subsequently transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

Troop 2 Robbery Detectives, present at the scene for investigation, identified and detained the suspects as they returned to the 7-Eleven. The apprehension occurred without incident.

Each suspect faces multiple charges. The 15-year-old male is charged with second-degree robbery and conspiracy, arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 11, and released on a $2,000 unsecured bond to a guardian

On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at approximately 11:46 p.m., police were dispatched to a reported suspicious situation at a business located on the 1400 block of Kiln Creek Parkway. **Gambrills, MD** – Early on February 28, officers were dispatched to a 7-Eleven in Gambrills following reports of a robbery. The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. at the store located on 1044 Route 3 North.

According to the store clerk, a suspect entered while he was in the back and ordered him to the ground after jumping the counter. Although the suspect hinted at having a firearm, no weapon was actually seen by the clerk.

The suspects, whose exact number remains unknown, managed to escape with an undisclosed sum of money. They fled the scene in an unspecified vehicle.
