CITRUS COUNTY, FL – This past weekend, the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) Marine Unit, in collaboration with the U.S. Coast Guard and the MyFWC Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, successfully rescued nine boaters from two sinking vessels amid challenging conditions. POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ – A boat with at least three passengers sunk after it crashed into the rocks on the jetty along the Manasquan Inlet Thursday night, according to Coast Guard sources. Boaters Rescued After Party Boat Ran Aground in Sheepshead Bay

NEW YORK, NY – A weekend party out on Sheepshead Bay ended when a party boat loaded with revelers ran aground on a sand bar in Mill Creek on Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn. The New York City Fire Department’s Marine 3 and Marine 8 patrol boats responded to the scene and found the boat tilted and grounded in the water, stuck in shallow water. Firefighters rescued 20 stranded passengers and transported them safely to sure. No charges were filed and no boating violations were issued.
