Fire in Clear Spring Damages Home, Destroys Garage
CLEAR SPRING, Md. — A structure fire broke out late Sunday morning at a detached garage in Clear Spring, causing an estimated $100,000 in damages, officials said. The fire was reported at 11:39 a.m. at 13610 Dry Run Road and was discovered by the homeowner, according to investigators. The garage, owned by James and Angela Davis, contained motorcycles, tools, a refrigerator, and a UTV. Firefighters from the Clear Spring Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene with 65 personnel. It took approximately 30 minutes to bring the fire under control. The garage’s smoke alarm was activated, but there was no
