Fugitive Extradited for Canarsie Murder

**Brooklyn, NY** – Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez announced the extradition of Anthony Regis-Ash, who fled to Trinidad and Tobago after allegedly killing 18-year-old Sharif Richards in 2021. Regis-Ash, who was brought back to Brooklyn, faces murder charges along with additional charges against his girlfriend, Amari Harvey, who was arrested in 2022.

Regis-Ash, formerly of Brooklyn and now 24, was arraigned on Monday before Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Donald Leo. He faces charges of two counts of second-degree murder, two counts of first-degree attempted robbery, and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Held without bail, Regis-Ash is scheduled to return to court on February 7.

Amari Harvey was arrested at JFK Airport on January 5, 2022, while attempting to board a flight to Trinidad and Tobago. She is charged with second-degree murder, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and first-degree attempted robbery and is held on $1 million cash bail or $2 million bond.

Boston, MA – Fugitive Unit Officers Arrest Two for Firearm and Drug Offenses

Fugitive unit officers from the Boston Police Department arrested two individuals, Evan Velez, age 37, and Emmanuel Arnauld, age 30, for firearm and drug-related offenses on Thursday at 3:00 PM. The arrests took place in connection with a surveillance operation near 58 Cedar St., Roxbury.

The officers were on the lookout for Evan Velez, wanted on a firearm-related arrest warrant. Surveillance noted Velez walking toward a pickup truck in a parking lot, where he entered the front passenger side. The officers intervened at this point, removing Velez from the vehicle and taking him into custody.

Upon searching, Velez carried an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency believed intended for drug distribution. Additional investigation led to the discovery of 513 grams of cocaine beneath the driver’s seat of the truck owned by Emmanuel Arnauld, who was subsequently arrested.

Both individuals face arraignment in Roxbury District Court. Velez has been charged with carrying a firearm without a license and conspiracy to violate drug laws, while Arnauld faces charges for possession of cocaine and drug trafficking of 200

Cumberland Police Make Arrests in Fugitive and DUI Cases

**Cumberland, MD** – The Cumberland Police Department arrested two individuals on Thursday, November 7, on separate charges, including a fugitive from justice and a DUI incident.

Irron Lateef Daye, 46, of Cumberland, was arrested on charges of being a fugitive from justice, following the discovery of an open bench warrant from Monongalia County, WV. The warrant accused Daye of failing to appear in court for a CDS distribution charge. He was presented before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance and was subsequently remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is held without bond, awaiting extradition to West Virginia.

Additionally, the police responded to a report of a suspicious individual in a vehicle at the intersection of Second St and Seymour St. The officers found Joseph Robert Benson III, 40, also of Cumberland, passed out in a running Honda passenger vehicle. Upon investigation, suspected CDS was observed inside the vehicle, leading to further inquiries. Benson was ordered out of the vehicle, resisted arrest, and attempted to escape but was taken into custody after a brief struggle.

Secaucus Police Apprehend Wanted Texas Fugitive

**Secaucus, NJ** – On Tuesday, at 8:23 a.m., Secaucus Police Officer Robert Schaffer arrested one of Texas’ most wanted individuals during a routine patrol near Meadowlands Parkway and Wood Avenue. Officer Schaffer encountered Tito Correa, 50, while he was creating a safety hazard by walking between vehicles outside a crosswalk.

Upon identifying Correa, a warrant check revealed he was wanted by the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office in Texas for arson and was listed as one of the county’s most wanted individuals. Consequently, Correa was arrested and charged as a Fugitive from Justice under code 2A:160-10. He also received a summons for not using a designated crosswalk, cited under code 39:4-33.

Correa is currently lodged at the Hudson County Jail and is presumed innocent until proven guilty. Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller praised Officer Schaffer and emphasized the importance of proactive policing in maintaining community safety.

Fugitive Wanted for Murder of 16-Year-Old in Baltimore County

### Baltimore County Police Seek Homicide Suspect

**Towson, MD** – The Baltimore County Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for 16-year-old Brayan Rodriguez, suspected in the murder of another 16-year-old. Officers responded to a shooting on Reisterstown Road on Sunday, where they discovered the victim.

The injured teenager was transported to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead. Authorities are requesting public assistance in locating Rodriguez.

Rodriguez is believed to frequent the Pikesville area. The police advise that anyone who sees him should call 911 without approaching.
