**OXON HILL, MD** – The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Thursday night. The victim has been identified as Sandra Abarca Orellana, aged 52, from Temple Hills.

On November 21, at approximately 9:10 p.m., officers responded to the 6100 block of Oxon Hill Road following reports of a pedestrian collision. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim with severe trauma, and she was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Preliminary findings indicate that the victim was hit in the eastbound lane of Oxon Hill Road. The driver did not remain at the scene, and investigators are seeking public assistance to identify the driver and locate the vehicle involved.
