**Boston, MA** – Police officers assigned to the Auto Theft Unit responded to a situation involving late night revelers in various Boston neighborhoods on Friday. They received an Officer in Trouble call near 485 Canterbury Street, where they observed around 80 vehicles gathered.

As attendees began to leave, officers documented vehicle registrations using body worn cameras and addressed auto law violations. Their actions resulted in motor vehicle citation enforcement for all vehicles at the scene.

Subsequent investigations led to the issuance of 78 citations for “No Stopping/No Standing” violations to the vehicles’ registered owners. The ongoing investigation aims to continue enforcement and prevent similar events.

At approximately 11:20 PM that evening, officers from District B-3 and District E-13 attended the scene in response to the Officer in Trouble report. Three individuals, Alan Ridenour, 19, Mario Florian, 19, and Geraldo Colon, 21, were arrested. Additionally, officers recovered two firearms and two stolen vehicles linked to the incident.

Highland Park Man Receives Five-Year Sentence for Road Rage Incident

Chapman, 41, from Highland Park, N.J., was convicted on September 27 by a Somerset County jury for several offenses, including possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose and endangering the welfare of a child. Following the trial, Judge Peter J. Tober sentenced Chapman on November 15 to five years in New Jersey State Prison and imposed a parole disqualifier of 42 months.

The charges originate from a road rage incident that occurred on May 5, 2023, in Franklin Township. Chapman was accused of pulling alongside the victim’s car, John Doe, striking the car’s mirror, and subsequently firing a 9 mm handgun twice at Doe’s vehicle. The victim was outside his vehicle at the time to fix the damaged mirror.

During the shooting, Chapman’s daughters, ages one and a half and four, were reportedly in his car. After the incident, Chapman disposed of the firearm and removed evidence from his vehicle, as revealed during testimony.

**Homestead, PA** – The Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations and Homicide Units responded to a call for assistance regarding a shooting in Homestead.

On Wednesday at 5:41 p.m., County 9-1-1 received a report of shots fired at a residence in the 1700 block of McClure Street. First responders found a man with a lower leg injury sustained from jumping out of a window during the incident, but he was not hit by gunfire. **Boston, MA** – On Friday at approximately 11:37 PM, police officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) and District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) arrested three individuals: Alan Ridenour, 19, of Marlboro, Mario Florian, 19, of Ashland, and Geraldo Colon, 21, of Framingham.

Officers responded to a distress call at 485 Canterbury Street where an officer was reportedly trapped in his vehicle with individuals jumping on it. Upon their arrival, over one hundred vehicles blocked Canterbury Street. Officers began searching for the officer and, once found, the crowd dispersed.

The officer, who declined medical attention, described being obstructed by several cars and having his vehicle swiped by another. A suspect was observed entering a car without a front license plate, and upon confrontation, tried to flee in the vehicle nearly hitting officers.

During a search, a firearm, three different license plates, and key fobs were discovered. Officers also encountered a different vehicle parked off-road. Further investigation revealed it was stolen, and a firearm and two stolen plates were found inside.

**CHARLES COUNTY, MD** – An elderly man was found dead during a brush fire at 11560 Acton Lane in Waldorf on Wednesday afternoon. Investigators from the Office of the State Fire Marshal and the Charles County Sheriff’s Office are examining the circumstances of his death.

On Tuesday, just before 4:00 p.m., firefighters from Charles and Prince George’s County, joined by Charles County Sheriff’s Office deputies, responded to a reported brush fire. They discovered the fire had spread to a vacant mobile home on the property, where they found the deceased man amidst the debris.

Deputy State Fire Marshals suspect the victim to be 94-year-old homeowner Donald L. Halter. Neighbors reported that Halter frequently burned trash and brush and was seen on a tractor earlier in the day.

**Utica, NY** – On Friday at approximately 5:15 a.m., Utica Police responded to an incident on the 1400 block of Miller Street, investigating reports of shots fired. A man and a woman informed officers that the woman’s ex-boyfriend had initiated an argument at her residence.

As another male arrived, the suspect approached his vehicle, knocked on the window, and fired two shots, missing the driver. The victim then left the scene, contacted 911, and later returned.

Following the incident, a criminal investigator was assigned to locate the suspect. The suspect’s vehicle was identified and towed for further investigation. Since the suspect was not found initially, the NY/NJ US Marshal’s Regional Taskforce was engaged in his apprehension efforts.

By Wednesday, the task force learned that the suspect was on the 200 block of Pleasant Street. Law enforcement, including METRO SWAT and Utica Police, negotiated with the suspect for approximately 30 minutes before he surrendered without incident.
