LAKEWOOD TOWNSHIP, NJ – A home invasion suspect was caught ‘red-handed’ Saturday morning after he attempted to break into a home. Police were able to quickly identify the suspect, who had a serious slash on his hand and was losing blood fast. Police applied a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. He was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment before being processed and charged with burglary and illegal possession of a weapon used to commit burglary.

SEMINOLE, FL – One person was shot and a woman sexually battered after a man with a handgun entered a home in Seminole. During a scuffle a male occupant of the home retrieved his gun to shoot the offender. The offender returned fire, shooting the man before fleeing the home. On Sunday, January 30, 2022 at approximately 3:00 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a private residence in Seminole for reports of an armed person at a party. The initial complaint noted one person was shot and the suspect fled the scene. According to detectives, a female victim advised 32-year-old Desmond
