Mays Landing Woman Faces Multiple Charges Including Forgery and Obstruction
**Ocean County, NJ** – Ocean County First Assistant Prosecutor Michael T. Nolan, Jr. disclosed that Alicia Campbell, 37, from Mays Landing, was charged on Tuesday with offenses including tampering with public records, impersonation, forgery, obstruction of justice, and making an unsworn false statement to authorities. These charges are associated with an aggregate prosecution related to her previous occupation as Lifestyle Director at Greenbriar Oceanaire Community & Golf Course, a senior living community in Ocean Township.
The original charges against Campbell stem from an investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Economic Crime Squad and the Ocean Township Police Department. The investigation determined that in her role, Campbell misappropriated association funds for personal use, totaling over $81,000 between January 2019 and January 2022. She also used Venmo to transfer over $94,000 back to her accounts, with the total theft exceeding $175,000.
Campbell surrendered to Ocean Township Police Headquarters on March 28, 2023, where she received a summons for upcoming court proceedings. She was indicted by a grand jury on January 3, with her arraignment
