SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korean police are investigating whether a North Korean hacker group, accused of stealing data from 14 entities, obtained information on defence technology including an anti-aircraft laser, a Seoul city police official said on Wednesday. ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – A juvenile was recently arrested and a weapon recovered after a laser beam was pointed at a residence. The Atlantic City Police Department reported the incident happened on Tuesday, around 11:31 PM in the 600 block of Kentucky Avenue. Lockheed Martin, Israel’s Rafael to develop laser weapon system

JERUSALEM (Reuters) – U.S. weapons maker Lockheed Martin and Israeli contractor Rafael have teamed up to create a high-energy laser weapon system, based on a technology already under development in Israel that could be market ready next year. (Reuters) – U.S. weapons maker Northrop Grumman Corp said on Monday it has completed the preliminary design review for a high-energy laser that would have several defense applications if scaled. Tacoma – A 36-year-old Port Angeles, Washington, man pleaded guilty and was sentenced this morning to probation and home confinement in connection with a September 26, 2016, laser pointer strike on a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter, announced Acting U.S. Attorney Tessa M. Gorman.  Randall Muck pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault on a federal officer.  U.S. District Judge Benjamin H.
