Traffic Stop Leads to Meth Charges in Franklin

**Franklin, NC** – A traffic stop led by the Franklin Police Department, in collaboration with the Macon County Sheriff’s Office, occurred on Sunday during a joint investigation.

The vehicle’s driver attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended. Methamphetamine was discovered during the incident.

Michael Quitman Beck, the driver, faces charges including felony PWIMSD methamphetamine, felony maintain vehicle/dwelling place, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor resisting a public officer. No bond was issued for Beck.

Passenger Danelle Kay Jimenez was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Jimenez received a bond set at $1,500.

**Baltimore, MD** – Western District patrol officers arrested a suspect following a carjacking incident that occurred on Monday. Officers responded to a report of the incident at around 2:41 a.m. in the 2400 block of West North Avenue.

A 31-year-old male ride-share driver was assaulted by a male passenger. Following the assault, the victim exited the vehicle, and the suspect drove away with it.

Officers received a detailed description of the stolen vehicle and found it on Presbury Street. A 20-year-old suspect was apprehended after a short foot chase.

The suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility. Charges were filed as per the standard procedures.

Stafford Man Arrested Following Eviction-Related Pursuit

**Stafford, VA** – A Stafford man was apprehended Sunday afternoon, two days after evading police during an eviction at a North Stafford apartment.

Deputies initially served an eviction order at an apartment in Garrison Woods on Friday afternoon. A man, later identified as Keenan Duncan, 29, provided a false name and birth date while leaving the apartment in a black face covering. As officers tried to verify his identity, Duncan fled the scene.

The foot chase led deputies behind the apartment complex towards Sky Terrace, where the suspect disappeared through a fence. Attempts to locate Duncan on Friday were unsuccessful, and deputies pursued leads throughout the weekend without success.

On Sunday afternoon, a Perry Farms resident reported a break-in. First Sergeant J.J. Kreider and Deputy A.M. Pitts discovered Duncan hiding in a basement bathroom and arrested him without incident. Duncan now faces charges of obstruction of justice, false identity, public mask-wearing, identity fraud, breaking and entering, vandalism, petit larceny, and possession of controlled substances. He is being held without bond at Rappahannock Regional Jail.

**Allentown, PA** – On Thursday, the Allentown Police Department responded to an armed carjacking incident around 4:16 PM near the intersection of North 14th Street and Turner Street. Following the report, patrol officers from the department were promptly dispatched to the scene.

During the investigation, officers from the 1st platoon identified the stolen vehicle in operation. A brief vehicle pursuit unfolded on site. The suspects attempted to flee the scene on foot.

However, the suspects were swiftly captured and taken into custody. Further details regarding the arrests were not disclosed.

Hospital Assault Leads to Charges After Patient Release

**Utica, NY -** On December 25th, Utica Police officers responded to a reported assault at Wynn Hospital. Staff reported an incident where a patient allegedly assaulted a nurse by grabbing her hair and throwing her to the ground.

Following the assault, the patient kicked and hit the nurse while continuing to pull her hair. Due to being admitted to the psychiatric ward at the time, the patient could not be immediately charged.

On December 31st, the patient, identified as 23-year-old Tyehsa Bowman from Utica, was released from care. Subsequently, she was charged with assault in the second degree.
