Sheriff’s Office Responds to Multiple Incidents in Stafford County

**Stafford, VA** – The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office reported a series of incidents on Tuesday, including assault and larceny cases.

Deputies E.T. Osborn and T.W. Jenkins responded to America’s Best Value Inn on Warrenton Road on Monday at 4:49 p.m. following a fight prompted by a verbal altercation over music. Surveillance footage captured the incident, leading to three individuals being charged with assault by mob. A 45-year-old male suspect is being held on a $2,000 bond, a 41-year-old female suspect on a $1,000 bond, and a 20-year-old male suspect was released on personal recognizance.

Later at 5:18 p.m., Deputy C.D. Quebedeaux addressed a disturbance at Walmart on Village Parkway. A female suspect caused a scene at the pharmacy drive-through, where she threw a glass bottle at staff, which shattered on the ground. The suspect, known to the staff, was identified, and warrants for simple assault and disposing of trash on private property were obtained.

MS-13 Leader Arraigned on Multiple Charges

**Brooklyn, NY** – A leader of the MS-13 gang, Francisco Javier Roman-Bardales, was arraigned earlier today on charges related to directing the gang’s illegal activities in the U.S., El Salvador, and other countries over two decades. Roman-Bardales, a 47-year-old from Ahuachapán, El Salvador, had been a fugitive for nearly three years and was recently apprehended and expelled by Mexican authorities.

Roman-Bardales is accused of holding a significant leadership position within MS-13’s organizational structure, which spans several countries. In the related case of United States v. Henriquez, et al., a grand jury previously indicted 14 members. Extradition requests for 11 defendants have been submitted and are pending.

The indictment alleges activities that include violent acts aimed at influencing Salvadoran government policies and expanding territory through intimidation and violence. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York has prosecuted numerous MS-13 members, accounting for over 80 murders in the region since 2009.

Pittsburgh Police Apprehend Suspect Wanted on Multiple Felony Warrants

**Pittsburgh, PA** – On Wednesday, Pittsburgh Police’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit, assisted by the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, arrested 24-year-old Melik Johnson of Pittsburgh. He was detained on multiple felony warrants, including one related to a firearm robbery on August 7 in the 7500 block of Mulford Street.

Johnson faces charges including Robbery, Criminal Conspiracy, Theft by Unlawful Taking, and Possessing Instruments of a Crime. He is also tied to an incident on September 24 in the South Side Flats neighborhood involving a stolen vehicle.

During the September incident, police located the stolen vehicle but Johnson had fled. Officers recovered a firearm from the vehicle, resulting in additional charges for Johnson.

Related to this incident, Johnson is charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Carrying a Firearm without a License, and Fleeing from Police, among others. He was taken to Allegheny County Jail following his arrest.
