Nutley man killed mother-in-law, charged with murder

NUTLEY, NJ – A Nutley man, James Pica, 58, is behind bars after killing his mother-in-law Tuesday night. Police said they received a call from Pica who confessed to the 9-1-1 operator that he had killed Ann Bezzone, 84. When Nutley police arrived, they found Bezzone laying dead on the floor with severe injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Pica was charged with murder.

Police in New Jersey have arrested a man they say was tossing snowball with nails and screws inside of them onto the roadway from his vehicle. Authorities say 54-year-old Adrian Sanchez, of Clifton, threw snowballs with close to 90 nails and screws inside from a 2010 Silver Ford Expedition in Nutley on December 6.
