Twenty Charged in Joint New Jersey, Pennsylvania Drug Operation Bust Operating Out of Philadelphia

**HARRISBURG, PA** – Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry, alongside the Pennsylvania State Police and New Jersey State Police, announced charges against 20 individuals for alleged cocaine trafficking in the Philadelphia area. Investigators state the group, led by Anthony “Bang” Blake, protected their large-scale drug operation with firearms.

Earlier this month, authorities executed multiple search warrants, which led to the recovery of 20 firearms, 12.5 pounds of cocaine, other drugs, and cash. Warrants were primarily carried out in Philadelphia and New Jersey, assisted by New Jersey State Police. Among those arrested were Kenneth McCall, Tyrone Hayward, and others, while Khalil Rippy, Terrell Brice, and Jonathan Cruz still have active warrants.

All defendants face charges including felony possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy, and some with illegal firearms possession. Blake, aged 45, was arraigned with nine felonies related to drug and firearms offenses and received a $500,000 bail.

Lacey Township Woman Admits to Drug Charges Involving Minors

**Lacey Township, NJ** – Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that on November 18, Margaret Whalen, 60, of Lacey Township, pled guilty to several charges, including possession of psilocin mushrooms with intent to distribute, employing a juvenile in a drug distribution scheme, and endangering the welfare of a child. Whalen entered her plea before the Honorable Dina M. Vicari, J.S.C. The state is seeking prison terms ranging from four to five years for each charge at Whalen’s sentencing on January 10, 2025, with all sentences to run concurrently.

In March, Lacey Township Police were informed by the Division of Child Protection and Permanency about Whalen’s alleged activities involving the manufacture and distribution of psilocin mushrooms from her residence on Elwood Street. Following a court-authorized search on March 13, law enforcement seized several jars containing the suspected substance. Laboratory tests conducted by the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation lab confirmed the presence of psilocin mushrooms on May 23.

Drug Dealer Arrested near Pawling Schools in Meth and Fentanyl Operation

**Pawling, NY –** The Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force has been conducting an investigation into methamphetamine and fentanyl sales in Pawling. The investigation identified William Frenza, 59, selling drugs near Pawling Middle and High Schools.

On Wednesday at around 9:00 PM, agents executed a search warrant at Frenza’s residence. They found a significant quantity of packaged fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other narcotics, leading to his arrest.

Frenza faces several charges, including criminal possession with intent to sell both narcotic drugs and methamphetamine. He was arraigned in the Town of Pawling Court and held on varying bond options.

Blades was arrested on Tuesday, shortly after noon, on Parker Avenue. He faces two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, categorized as a Class B felony.

Following his arrest, Blades was arraigned in Poughkeepsie City Court and held in Dutchess County Jail without bail. Authorities indicated that Blades may face additional charges as the investigation progresses.
