Border Agents Seize Liquid Meth at Highway 86 Checkpoint

SALTON CITY, Calif. — El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents arrested a United States citizen accused of smuggling liquid methamphetamine through an immigration checkpoint Thursday morning. Miami, Florida – Today, a South Florida federal district judge sentenced a Vero Beach drug dealer who drove around town with fentanyl, a loaded semi-automatic firearm, and tens of thousands of dollars in cash to 106 months in federal prison. Pineapple shipment destroyed after invasive Amazonian caterpillar found

GULFPORT, Mississippi – U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agriculture Specialists discovered a butterfly larvae pest, informally known as the Saunders 1850, while inspecting a container of pineapples from Costa Rica. The larvae was discovered while conducting inspections at the Port of Gulfport on Wednesday, September 2. Due to the potential impact to US Agriculture, the shipment of pineapples, worth $15,000, was destroyed. Border Patrol Agents rescue 69 migrants from inside a tractor-trailer

LAS CRUCES, N.M. — U.S. Border Patrol Agents assigned to an immigration checkpoint in Las Cruces, New Mexico, encountered a tractor-trailer smuggling 69 migrants during the early hours of Sept. 30. Las Cruces Station Border Patrol Agents, assigned to the immigration checkpoint located on Interstate 25, observed a white tractor-trailer with one visible occupant, enter the primary lane for inspection. Due to the driver’s inconsistent story and nervous behavior, agents referred the driver to the secondary inspection lane to further investigate. Further questioning led to the agents gaining access to the back of the trailer where 69 migrants were discovered.

LAREDO, Texas – Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to the Horse Patrol Unit (HPU) provided first aid to an individual who became lost near Hebbronville, Texas. New Orleans Sector K9 and Regional Enforcement Team Seize $170,000 in Narcotics

GULFPORT, Mississippi— A New Orleans Sector K9 unit, working with the Southern Mississippi Metro Enforcement Team (SMMET) arrested two Honduran nationals and seized six kilos of narcotics worth $170,000.  On Sept. 16 at 2:50 a.m., a Gulfport Station agent observed a suspicious vehicle heading westbound on I-10 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi and conducted a vehicle stop. A records check revealed the registered owner of the 2005 Ford F150 had ties to a narcotics smuggling ring operating out of the Rio Grande Valley Sector.  In conversation, the agent detected inconsistencies in the two vehicle occupants’ purpose of travel and travel history.

DEL RIO, Texas – Del Rio Sector U.S. Border Patrol agents have arrested two convicted sex offenders, since Sept. 24. On Sept. 24, Brackettville Station agents arrested eight Mexican nationals following a Kinney County Sherriff’s Office pursuit. During processing, records checks revealed that one of the men arrested, a citizen of Mexico, was convicted of sexual assault of a person who cannot consent in Chicago in 2006, and was subsequently sentenced to 4 years confinement. Rio Grande Valley Law Enforcement Collaboration Leads to 35 Apprehensions of illegals, smugglers

PHILADELPHIA – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in Philadelphia seized more than $6.5 million in counterfeit U.S. currency on Tuesday that arrived in international air cargo from Russia. The currency was destined to an address near Chicago. This currency seizure follows a September 7 seizure by Philadelphia CBP officers of nearly $100,000 in counterfeit euros and dollars. In the most recent incident, CBP officers seized a combined $6,511,294 in counterfeit U.S. currency that arrived in five parcels. 11-year-old shot in Philadelphia, now police are searching for suspects

On September 30, 2021, at 8:53 PM, 12th District officers responded to 5701 Elmwood Avenue for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers located a complainant with a gunshot wound to his left leg. The officers transported him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition. Philadelphia police searching for suspect who shot and killed 37-year-old

The Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Unit is looking to identify the male suspect, depicted in the following surveillance video excerpts, as part of an ongoing investigation into the shooting death of a 37-year-old male victim on Thursday, May 28th, 2020, in the 5200 block of Wayne Avenue. The suspect appeared to have waited for the victim to enter his vehicle, at which time he ran up to him and shot him numerous times.
