Suspect Sought in Riverdale Park Homicide

**Riverdale, MD** – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is seeking public assistance in locating Fausto Galeano-Soriano, 44, wanted for a homicide in Riverdale Park. Galeano-Soriano is accused of murdering Angel Martinez, 53, and a reward is offered for information leading to his arrest.

On May 15 at approximately 5:20 p.m., Riverdale Park Police officers responded to a report of an unresponsive man in the 5700 block of Riverdale Road. The victim, Angel Martinez, was later declared dead at the hospital.

The Chief Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Martinez died from blunt force trauma and ruled the death a homicide. Galeano-Soriano faces charges including first and second-degree murder.

**Riverdale, MD** – Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in Riverdale, identifying 38-year-old Jeiver Pozuelos Cervantes of Hyattsville as the victim. A reward of up to $25,000 has been announced for information leading to an arrest and indictment related to the case.

On Thursday, at approximately 6:40 am, patrol officers were alerted by a citizen near Veterans Parkway and Riverdale Road about an unresponsive man on the roadside. Upon investigation, the victim was found with gunshot wounds and was declared dead at the scene.
