PEORIA, Ill. – A Metropolis, Illinois, man, Roy T. Rolfe, 40, formerly a resident of Peoria, was sentenced on March 24, 2022, to 27 months in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possession of an unregistered firearm. MOBILE, AL – An Atmore man was sentenced to five years in prison for being a felon in possession of a sawed-off rifle. According to court documents, Cedric Jarrell Pierce, 28, was arrested on November 24, 2020 after he refused to stop for a speeding violation and led sheriff’s deputies on a 13-mile high-speed chase that began in Robertsdale, Alabama. A Humboldt, Iowa man who possessed a sawed-off shotgun was sentenced December 15, 2021 to 8 years in federal prison. Levi Goodell, age 26, from Humboldt, Iowa, received the prison term after a July 28, 2021, guilty plea to possession of a firearm by a felon.
