6-Year-Old Among Those Forced at Gunpoint into Closet During Brooklyn Cell Phone Store Robbery

BROOKLYN, NY – An armed man entered a Brooklyn cell phone store and threatened customers, store employees and a six-year-old boy. He forced his victims into a closet in the store’s back office before robbing the store of over 100 cellphones, the New York City Police Department reported. Persichilli: 50% of those still hospitalized in New Jersey are fully vaccinated

TRENTON, NJ – New Jersey Department of Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli on Wednesday released eye-opening data detailing the vaccination rates among those still hospitalized in the state for COVID-19. Of the 963 COVID-19 patients in New Jersey hospitals on Thursday and 99 on ventilators, Persichilli said 50% are fully vaccinated. LAREDO, Texas – Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents continue to secure the border and prevent the circumvention of the Interstate 35 (I-35) checkpoint north of Laredo, Texas. During a series of incidents, human smugglers have attempted to use the west access road and travel north, paralleling I-35 in an attempt to avoid inspection at the checkpoint. Two Individuals in Federal Prison as Officers, Agents Target those Responsible for an Overdose Death in Park City

SALT LAKE CITY – Jimmy Astudillo, age 32, of Salt Lake City, was sentenced to 65 months in federal prison for the possession of heroin with intent to distribute, related to his role in the distribution of narcotics that caused the fatal overdose of a Park City woman in 2018.
