**TEMPLE HILLS, MD** – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is looking into a pedestrian hit-and-run accident that resulted in a fatality on Saturday night. The investigation aims to identify the victim, an adult female, with the intention of informing her family.

Police were called to the scene on the 4400 block of Saint Barnabas Road on Saturday at 8:50 p.m. They discovered the victim, who had suffered trauma, on the roadway. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the driver who struck the victim was traveling northbound on Saint Barnabas Road near Leisure Drive. The driver did not remain at the scene after the incident.

Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred on Tuesday night in Hyattsville’s unincorporated section. The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Adam Hashim from Lanham. Authorities have announced a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Detectives have initially indicated that they do not suspect the crime to be random.

Officers responded to the 7000 block of Highview Terrace on the night of October 29 at approximately 11:00 p.m. They discovered Adam Hashim in an apartment with gunshot wounds and pronounced him dead at the scene. Investigators are actively working to determine a motive and identify potential suspects.
