Brutal late-night stabbing leaves man dead on Upper West Side
NEW YORK, NY — A 40-year-old man was fatally stabbed late Friday night on the Upper West Side, authorities said. Police responded to a 911 call reporting an assault in progress at 140 West 104th Street, within the jurisdiction of the 24th Precinct and Police Service Area 6, at approximately 11:57 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim with multiple stab wounds to the neck.
