Three Wilmington Teens Arrested for 7-Eleven Robbery

**Wilmington, DE** – The Delaware State Police have taken into custody a 15-year-old male and two 16-year-old females, all residents of Wilmington, Delaware, in connection with a robbery that transpired Thursday afternoon at a local 7-Eleven.

On Thursday at approximately 1:15 p.m., state troopers responded to a reported robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 4865 Governor Printz Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered the teenagers were prohibited from the store due to prior shoplifting incidents. Despite being asked to leave by the clerk, they refused, began taking store items, and assaulted the clerk during an attempt to reclaim merchandise, fleeing the scene afterward. The clerk was subsequently transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

Troop 2 Robbery Detectives, present at the scene for investigation, identified and detained the suspects as they returned to the 7-Eleven. The apprehension occurred without incident.

Each suspect faces multiple charges. The 15-year-old male is charged with second-degree robbery and conspiracy, arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 11, and released on a $2,000 unsecured bond to a guardian

Wilmington Crash Leads to Arrest for Vehicular Homicide

**Wilmington, DE** – The Delaware State Police have arrested Marvis Branch, 58, of Wilmington, Delaware, in connection with a fatal head-on collision that occurred on Tuesday morning on I-495. The crash resulted in the death of a 43-year-old man from Bear, Delaware, who was driving a Toyota Corolla.

The accident happened around 12:22 a.m. when Branch, operating a 2004 Lexus RX300, was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of I-495 near Edgemoor Road. The Lexus, reportedly at high speed, collided head-on with the oncoming Toyota in the left lane.

The Toyota driver was declared dead at the scene. Authorities are withholding the individual’s identity until family members have been notified.

Branch was taken to a local hospital for injuries incurred in the accident. Law enforcement officers noted signs of impairment during their investigation. Branch faces charges including Vehicular Homicide 2nd Degree, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving on the Wrong Side of the Roadway, and Failure to Have Required Insurance. He has been detained on a $27,700 cash bond.

Police Apprehend Suspect in Wilmington Bank Robbery

**Wilmington, DE** – Delaware State Police have arrested Gregory Collins, age 65, from Wilmington, in connection with a robbery at Citizens Bank earlier today.

Troopers were dispatched at approximately 10:05 a.m. on Thursday to the Citizens Bank on Marsh Road in Wilmington regarding a robbery incident. Initial investigations indicated a black male suspect approached a bank teller, demanding money while displaying an unknown object beneath his shirt. The teller complied, and the suspect made off in a blue Mitsubishi Outlander with an undisclosed amount of cash.

With the assistance of investigative techniques, police located Collins near a motel in New Castle and arrested him without incident. Reviewing the bank’s surveillance footage, detectives identified Collins as the suspect responsible for the robbery.

Collins was then taken to Troop 2, where he was charged with first-degree robbery, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11, and subsequently held at Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $60,000 secured bond.
