Take 5 winners in New York celebrate big payday from latest draw

NEW YORK — Two Take 5 players in the Bronx and Freeport each won $15,994.50 in Sunday night’s drawing, with top-prize tickets sold at local retailers.

One winning ticket was purchased at Story Ave 24, located at 1903 Story Ave in the Bronx, while the other was sold at Lucky Spot Deli & Grocery, 453A N Main St in Freeport.

Take 5 numbers are drawn twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with prizes claimable for up to one year from the drawing date.

The New York Lottery remains North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, contributing $3.8 billion to public schools in the 2023-24 fiscal year.
