Teaneck traffic stop leads to weapons and drug charges for two suspects

TEANECK, N.J. — A routine traffic stop on Cedar Lane led to the arrest of Ross Daniels-Lynn and Serenity Griffith after police discovered an illegal firearm and narcotics inside their vehicle, authorities said.

Daniels-Lynn was initially arrested on February 10 after officers found him in possession of an illegal firearm. Griffith, the vehicle’s owner and front-seat passenger, was identified and released at the scene pending further investigation.

Following a court-approved search of Griffith’s impounded 2009 Hyundai Genesis on February 14, police recovered a .40 caliber Glock handgun with its serial and model numbers defaced. The firearm was loaded with hollow-point bullets.

Investigators also found suspected marijuana, Ecstasy (MDMA), and drug distribution paraphernalia, leading to additional weapons and drug charges for both suspects.
