Teen arrested in fatal 2023 gas station shooting of 16-year-old in Clinton

CLINTON, MD — An 18-year-old from District Heights has been charged with murder in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred nearly one year ago at a Clinton gas station, Prince George’s County Police announced Wednesday.

Stephon Johnson is accused of killing 16-year-old Robert Isiah Walker, who was found with gunshot wounds inside the business on the 9800 block of Piscataway Road around 2:40 a.m. on August 12, 2023. Walker was pronounced dead at the scene.

Johnson is charged with both first- and second-degree murder, along with related offenses. He is currently being held at the Department of Corrections with no bond.

Police say the motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
