Teen Charged for Deadly Shooting of 16-Year-Old Boy in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Virginia Beach Police Department officers responded to a shooting report on Bryce Lane on Monday. They discovered a deceased 16-year-old male at the scene and subsequently arrested another 16-year-old male.

The suspect faces charges including First Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony.

Police Chief Paul Neudigate expressed concerns about the prevalence of unsecured firearms in homes, leading to tragic incidents like this fatal shooting.
