Teen charged with murder in fatal shooting at Baltimore hotel

BALTIMORE — An 18-year-old has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection to a deadly shooting at a birthday party in Baltimore’s Southeast District last November.

Davion Foreman, of Middle River, was taken into custody by Warrant Apprehension detectives on January 9 at a residence in the 2200 block of Graythorn Road. Investigators allege that Foreman fatally shot 28-year-old Kierra Tripp during a dispute at a hotel in the 800 block of North Wolfe Street on November 17, 2024.

The shooting occurred at approximately 1:29 a.m. when Southeast District patrol officers responded to a report of gunfire inside the hotel. Upon arrival, officers found Tripp unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Foreman, who turned 18 on the day of his arrest, was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was formally charged with first-degree murder.
