STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A Stafford County teenager is facing multiple charges after deputies say he was found intoxicated, unlicensed, and in possession of marijuana and a Glock-style BB gun during a late-night crash.
Just after 11 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to Richmond Highway and Garrisonville Road for a report of a possibly drunk driver. A caller reported seeing a teen who appeared half-asleep at the wheel of a pickup truck and had attempted to reverse at an intersection.
Deputies located the driver minutes later at a McDonald’s drive-thru, where the teen had struck the vehicle in front of him. The teen was described as uncooperative and visibly intoxicated during the encounter.
A search of the teen revealed multiple marijuana products and a realistic Glock-style BB gun. Deputies confirmed the teen did not have a valid driver’s license.
He was issued criminal complaints for driving under the influence, driving without a license, underage possession of marijuana, and underage consumption of alcohol. The teen was released to his parents following the incident.
