Teen hospitalized after daytime shooting in Navy Yard

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A shooting in the Navy Yard area left a teenager injured on Friday afternoon, according to officials.

The incident occurred around 1:20 p.m. in the 1500 block of 1st Street, Southwest. Responding officers located the teen, who was conscious and breathing, before transporting them to a hospital for treatment.
