NEW YORK, N.Y. — A 17-year-old boy was fatally stabbed, and two other men were injured in an assault Friday evening in East Harlem, police said.
Officers responded to a 911 call about an assault in progress near East 108th Street and 2nd Avenue at approximately 6:13 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered three male victims suffering from various injuries.
Carlos Rivas, 17, of the Bronx, sustained stab wounds to his chest and lower abdomen. He was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead.
A 22-year-old man was stabbed in the left arm, and a 62-year-old man sustained a laceration to his forehead. Both were transported to local hospitals and are listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing as police work to determine the circumstances of the deadly attack.
