Teen mom and infant vanish in Brooklyn as Police Continue Search

BROOKLYN, NY – Police are searching for a 17-year-old mother and her 4-month-old daughter who disappeared after leaving their Dean Street residence Thursday morning.

The NYPD said the pair, identified as Aaliyah Fong and her infant daughter, Armani Gordon, were last seen around 11:42 a.m. leaving 1162 Dean Street, within the confines of the 77th Precinct.

Family members reported them missing later in the day after repeated attempts to contact them went unanswered.

Detectives have launched a search and are reviewing nearby surveillance footage in hopes of tracking their movements.

Police release descriptions of missing individuals

Aaliyah Fong is described as a 17-year-old Black female, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a shiny black jacket, black leggings, a black shirt, and black boots.

Her daughter, Armani Gordon, is a 4-month-old Black female. No description of her clothing was immediately available.

Investigators said there are no immediate signs of foul play, but they are treating the case as urgent due to the infant’s age.

Officers have distributed missing person flyers across the neighborhood and contacted area hospitals, transit hubs, and shelters.

Public asked to help locate missing mother and child

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Aaliyah Fong and her daughter’s whereabouts to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline.

The two live in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, and police believe they may still be in the area.

Neighbors have joined the search effort, sharing the family’s photos on social media and across community networks.

The investigation remains active as police continue following leads to ensure the safe return of both individuals.

A 17-year-old Brooklyn mother and her 4-month-old daughter disappeared after leaving home Thursday, prompting an urgent citywide search.
