Henderson County, NC – A 17-year-old boy has been reported missing after he was last seen late Monday night in a Henderson County neighborhood, and deputies are asking for the public’s help in locating him.

According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, Reese Long was last spotted around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, September 15, in the area of Childs Drive. He has since been classified as a runaway, and his current whereabouts are unknown.

Reese is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing around 130 pounds. He has red hair and may be traveling on a bicycle, though no confirmed direction of travel has been established.

The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who has seen Reese or may have information related to his location to call 828-697-4911 or use the “submit a tip” feature on the department’s official app.
