Teen reported missing after disappearing from home Monday night

Hackettstown, NJ – Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 16-year-old girl who went missing from her home late Monday night.

Lila G. Tisseverasinghe was last seen around 10 p.m. on September 15 at her residence in Hackettstown, according to authorities. She is described as 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 170 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Investigators said she may have been wearing a camouflage sweatshirt and light-colored pants when she disappeared.
