Teen reported missing from Harlem; NYPD asking for public’s help

NEW YORK — Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 16-year-old boy who was reported missing from his Harlem residence, authorities said.

Abdul Barrie was last seen at his home on Madison Avenue in the 25th Precinct around 12:50 p.m. on Friday, February 28, police said.

Barrie is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing black glasses, a black jacket, a gray sweater, dark pants, gray and white sneakers, and carrying a black backpack.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the NYPD.
