Teen Shot and Killed in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – A teenage boy was found fatally injured on Orleans Street late Monday night, leading to a homicide investigation by the Northeast District police.

Responding to a reported traffic incident, officers discovered the 16-year-old unresponsive on the pavement. Initial aid was rendered on the scene until the arrival of medical personnel, who transported the teenager to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The preliminary inquiry has determined the victim was not hit by a car as initially suspected but had sustained gunshot wounds. Investigators believe the incident took place in the 4600 block of Bowleys Lane, and the victim was subsequently moved to where he was found.
