Teen Shot and Killed in Maury

MAURY, N.C. – A fatal incident unfolded Sunday afternoon in Maury, North Carolina, as 17-year-old Anthony Williams was shot outside a mobile home on Rory Drive.

Sheriff Matt Sasser confirmed the victim’s age but refrained from providing further personal details.

The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) is actively collaborating with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office in the murder investigation.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with this case. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the public for any information regarding the incident. They have announced a reward for information leading to an arrest.
