Teen shot and killed in the Bronx

NEW YORK, NY – Gunfire erupted last night in the Bronx, leaving an 18-year-old male victim dead.

At approximately 6:22 PM, police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting incident at 3329 Olinville Avenue in the Bronx. Upon arrival, officers discovered an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived at the scene and transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi. Unfortunately, the young man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Nixon Rodriguez, an 18-year-old male residing at 2120 Madison Avenue in New York City.

Currently, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities are working diligently to gather information and determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
