Teen shot in the leg in broad daylight attack in the Bronx

NEW YORK, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a shooting in the Bronx.

Police said the incident occurred Tuesday at approximately 3:57 p.m. in front of 4399 White Plains Road. A 15-year-old male was approached by two unidentified individuals, who produced a firearm and shot the victim once in the left leg.

The suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. The victim’s condition was not immediately available.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
