Teen shot multiple times in Southeast DC, rushed to hospital

WASHINGTON, DC — A teenage boy was shot and wounded just before midnight Sunday in Southeast D.C., sparking an investigation into the incident.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 100 block of 57th Street, SE, and found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

The teen was conscious and breathing when taken to the hospital, but his current condition remains unclear.
