Teen Stabbed Near Ocean City Amusement Pier Amid Curfew Enforcement

OCEAN CITY, NJ—A 15-year-old boy was stabbed Saturday night near a popular amusement pier in Ocean City, sparking concerns about youth violence in the area. The incident occurred around 9:12 PM, not far from the boardwalk attractions.

The teen was promptly transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City with injuries deemed non-life-threatening, according to local police. The suspect remains unidentified, and the investigation into the stabbing continues.

Ocean City has several measures aimed at curbing nighttime disturbances caused by groups of teens and young adults. These measures include an 8 PM curfew for beaches, a backpack ban on the boardwalk starting at the same hour, and an overall 11 PM curfew on the boardwalk.

The incident coincided with reports of other disturbances on the boardwalk that night.
