Teen hospitalized after midday gunfire

Eastern District patrol officers responded to the reported shooting shortly after 1:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they located the teenage victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.

The scene was secured and documented as detectives with the Eastern District Shooting Unit arrived to begin their investigation.
