Teenager Critically Injured in Bronx Shooting

BRONX, NY — A shooting incident near 1700 Crotona Park on Monday, April 29, left a 17-year-old male critically injured. At approximately 8:41 PM, an unidentified assailant approached the victim, displayed a firearm, and fired multiple rounds, striking the teenager once in the stomach.

The suspect fled the scene on foot, heading westbound on Claremont Parkway. The victim was swiftly transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where he is listed in critical condition.

Authorities are searching for a male with a medium complexion and slim build, last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a white logo and multicolored pants. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
