Teenager Critically Wounded in Philadelphia Shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA—A 17-year-old male is in critical condition after being shot in the chest early Wednesday morning in Philadelphia’s 24th District. The incident occurred around 12:11 AM on E Lippincott Street.

The victim, who suffered a gunshot wound to the right side of his chest, managed to walk into Temple Hospital for treatment. As of now, he remains in critical condition.

Philadelphia Police have secured the scene of the shooting. However, the motive behind the attack has not been established, and no arrests have been made. The Shooting Investigation Group is actively investigating the case.
