Teenager Dies in Shooting Incident in Stolen Car

ROCHESTER, NY – An 18-year-old man lost his life in a shooting incident while driving a stolen car near Laser Street and Joseph Avenue on Tuesday morning.

After receiving reports of gunshots around 6 a.m., officers arrived to find the victim inside a crashed Hyundai, suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. He was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The stolen Hyundai, with a broken steering wheel column, was taken from the Portland Avenue area earlier that morning.

Currently, there are no suspects in custody, and the Rochester Police are trying to determine the circumstances leading to the shooting. They asked anyone with information to contact 911.
