Teenager Hospitalized after Early Morning Shooting in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A 15-year-old boy sustained non-life-threatening injuries from a shooting that occurred early Monday morning in Tacony, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.

The incident took place on the 6500 block of Marsden Street just after 1:15 a.m.

The young victim was shot in his lower right leg and was transported to St Christopher’s Hospital for Children. As of now, no arrests have been made related to the shooting.

The victim’s name has not been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
