Teenager Injured in Drive-By Shooting in Dayton

DAYTON, OH – A 15-year-old male has been injured following a drive-by shooting, according to a sergeant on the scene.

Dayton police officers and medics responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 7:17 p.m. near a residence on 819 Cherry Drive and Rugby Street, in close proximity to W Hillcrest Avenue.

The teenager sustained a gunshot wound to the leg during the incident, which has been described as non-life-threatening.
