Teenager Robbed of Necklace on West Fordham Road

Bronx, NY – A 16-year-old girl was the victim of a chain-snatching incident on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at around 5:30 PM. The event occurred as she was walking along West Fordham Road.

The suspect, described as a male with a medium complexion and build, forcibly removed the necklace from the victim’s neck. He is approximately 5’10” tall and weighs around 210 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes and was last seen wearing a red shirt, grey jeans, and grey sneakers. After committing the robbery, the individual fled the scene on a brightly colored green and blue bicycle.

The authorities are urging anyone with information about this incident to come forward to assist in the identification and apprehension of the suspect.
