Teenager Shot in Wilmington's East Side Neighborhood

WILMINGTON, NC – A 16-year-old male is currently in stable condition after being shot on Wednesday night in the East Side neighborhood.

The incident occurred around 7:13 p.m. on the 300 block of East 9th Street.

Following the shooting, he was transported to a local hospital where he remains in stable condition.

The Wilmington Police Department is actively investigating the incident.

They asked anyone with relevant information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
