Teenager wanted for multiple crimes arrested in Greenbelt

GREENBELT, MD – On Sunday, at 2:32 pm, Greenbelt Police apprehended a 16-year-old boy sitting by the Shell Food Mart, known to have multiple open warrants.

During the arrest, officers found a stolen block handgun with an extended magazine on the teenager.

The juvenile’s open warrants were for a list of crimes, including first-degree assault, armed carjacking, and armed robbery.

He had previously been arrested by Greenbelt Police on November 20, 2021, for armed robbery and first-degree assault, and on December 9, 2021, for carjacking and aggravated assault.
