Teenager Wounded in Shooting on Paterson Street

PATERSON, NJ – A 16-year-old was injured in a shooting incident Monday night in Paterson, as confirmed by authorities.

The Paterson Police Department received a call just before 8 PM about a shooting at the intersection of Hamilton and Godwin Avenues. Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes provided details of the incident.

Upon arrival, the police learned that the teenage victim had already been transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson in a private vehicle. The victim sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is actively seeking information from the public regarding this incident.
