Teenagers Injured in Early Morning Baltimore Shooting

Baltimore, MD — An investigation is underway following an early morning shooting on Saturday in the 600 block of South Broadway, which left two teenagers injured.

At approximately 1:58 a.m., officers patrolling the area heard gunshots and arrived at the scene to find a 19-year-old female and a 16-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to their legs. Both victims were transported to a local hospital and are currently in stable condition.

A person of interest has been taken into custody, and a firearm was recovered at the scene. Central District Shooting detectives are leading the investigation.
