Teens Assaulted and Robbed in Bronx; One Stabbed

BRONX, NY – Police reported an assault on two teenagers at the intersection of East 165 Street and Grant Avenue on Thursday, December 7, at approximately 2:40 PM. The victims, an 18-year-old male and a 16-year-old male, were accosted by a group of unidentified individuals.

The assailants placed the 16-year-old in a chokehold and kicked him. During the altercation, one individual produced a knife and stabbed the 18-year-old in the torso. The attackers then took a pair of sneakers and a cellphone from the 18-year-old before fleeing the scene on foot. The 18-year-old was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition, while the 16-year-old declined medical treatment.

The NYPD is seeking information about the unidentified individuals involved in this incident.
